Just One More Week Please
The Senate will remain adjourned until May 27, while the House is set to reconvene on June 3, as both chambers continue their work on the state budget. As a reminder, if a budget is not passed by the end of the fiscal year on June 30, the Governor will be required to declare a State of Emergency until a budget is approved. ASBA will continue to keep members informed with timely updates as budget negotiations progress.
